Sweet old New Orleans, where the party never ends, is now overrun with departed souls who can’t – or won’t – move on, forcing the unlikeliest of hungover heroes to step up and show them the way out. 

Billy Walker is lazy, out of shape, and gloriously hedonistic – hardly the man you’d expect to shepherd the dead toward the pearly gates. Thrown into a brutal supernatural training regimen and guided by eccentric spirits, he begins a journey that’s as much about finding justice for the dead as it is about finding purpose for himself.
